Artist's Comments

This is my origami creation, moments before it's death.

It consisted of 64 uncut square pieces of paper, and took many hours to fold and put together.

On the way back to my car, I slipped on the lava rocks and cut open my forearm, shin, and finger tips.

My origami creation was destroyed in the process.

Edited digitally to enhance colors/contrast.
